Meet Dr. Kevin Ortale
Skill and compassion go hand in hand when providing exceptional patient care. As a dental professional, I stay up to date on the latest advancements in dentistry in order to provide the most current treatment options for my patients. As a doctor, I recognize that my patients are unique individuals who have placed a great deal of trust in me and my team. That is just one reason why I value each and every patient relationship.
My building blocks at work are principles of hard work, teamwork, and discipline balanced with compassionate delivery, humor, and a feel good way to help ease any fears you may have.
My building blocks at home are based on the balancing act of "Love and Logic" with my children and a strong devoted love and friendship with my wife Leah. Together we have worked hard to instill confidence, compassion, and humor in our 2 boys, Jake (13) and Wyatt (11) by being a team and surviving the perils and craziness of parenthood and taking the time to sit back and enjoy the "rollercoaster ride" as described in the movie Parenthood. Whether you are building a dental practice or building love in one's home...we all need buiding blocks of love, faith, and devotion.
I was raised in Huntington Beach, CA and basically grew up a beach boy and an athlete. In 4th Grade I decided I wanted to be a dentist and never veered off course. There were no dentists in my family and neither of my parents graduated college, so I took off on my journey as a trailblazer after graduating college in 1993 at The University of California at Irvine (UCI). My father and mother supported my dreams and inspired me to pursue my goals, and in 1997 I graduated dental school at the Univeristy of Iowa. I had initially planned to specialize in Pediatrics but felt there was so much more to do and learn. I continued my training in the Air Force and completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency in 1998 at Offutt Air Force Base, Nebraska. I was fortunate to have the opportunity to live in Germany for 2 years before settling in Arizona in 2000. I joined a dental practice in Scottsdale, but ultimately decided to buy North Point Dentistry in 2003. It has been a journey, a good journey...I hope to have you join me along the way!
